Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that Arsenal are a better team.Guardiola said this during his press conference on Wednesday, ahead of the team’s home game against Tottenham.
The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League, eight points ahead of City.
Guardiola has now said he can’t afford to be relaxed about the situation at the top of the table.
“It’s better [to be eight points ahead]; you can lose points.”
“If you’re behind, you can’t lose points.”
“The pressure is on the next game; we can’t think of anything other than winning the next one.” After the conditions dictate, if they are good in all departments, they will be there.
“They [Arsenal] are better than us so far.” There are lots of games to play. Don’t think about that; grab Liverpool, who have been on top for the past few years; just think about the next game and see what happens.
Manchester City have been in this position [in LFP] many times in the past. I was never relaxed, even eight points ahead,” Guardiola said.
