FC Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has reportedly refused to join former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
Busquets has been linked with a move to Al-Nassr in recent days.According to Catalunya Radio, Busquets turned down an offer which would have paid him €20m.
It is not yet known what the Spanish midfielder plans to do next year, but he seems certain to stay at FC Barcelona for the rest of the season.
Busquets’ current contract with FC Barcelona expires on June 30 this year.
The 34-year-old has yet to decide on his future or sign a new contract with FC Barcelona.
FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta and manager Xavi have both said they want Busquets to stay at Camp Nou but it’s believed the veteran may have to take a pay cut to continue.
Besides Al-Nassr, Inter Miami are also said to be interested in Busquets.
