Chelsea manager Graham Potter said he had the “toughest job in football.”
The Blues’ next Premier League game is on Thursday night at Fulham.
Heading into this game, Chelsea sit 10th in the standings after a run of six defeats in nine matches.
Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel in September 2022. Marina Granovskaia, Petr Cech, Bruce Buck, Guy Laurence, and Scott McLachlan also left Stamford Bridge.
I understood that it was going to be very difficult. I just thought that from a leadership perspective, it’s fascinating, challenging, and ridiculously difficult.
“I think it’s probably the most difficult position in football because of this change in leadership, expectations, and the way people see Chelsea.” “And obviously, I didn’t think we were going to lose 10 first-team players [to injury],” Potter said.
