According to The Times, Premier League clubs have been informed by FIFA that they will be unable to select their Brazilian players for a five-day period or they will face a possible sanction.
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva will now be unavailable for selection for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
The likes of Liverpool – with Alisson and Fabinho – and Manchester United – with Fred – have also been impacted by this huge decision.
