Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong picked up an incredibly harsh red card vs Cadiz

The team are really struggling in the post-Lionel Messi era and it’s hard to see manager Ronald Koeman staying in the job much longer.

Barcelona’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week showed just how far behind the best teams in Europe they are these days.

The Blaugrana are finding it very tough in La Liga this season and could only muster a 0-0 draw away at Cadiz on Thursday evening.

That result means that Barcelona are currently seventh in the table, a position that they most certainly do not want to be in.

But while a draw was far from an ideal result for Koeman’s side, it could have been far worse.
