Ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green shows horrific bent finger, blames Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink for it

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green recently revealed that the little finger on his right hand was bent during his professional career.

During an event for Astro Superport, Green met with former Blues striker Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink and showed off his disfigured finger.

He also revealed that it was a shot from Hasselbaink which caused it, saying: “That’s from one of Jimmy’s free-kicks about 15 years ago.”

Green spent the 2018/19 season at Chelsea as a back-up, third-choice goalkeeper. The Englishman didn’t make a single appearance but hilariously celebrated the UEFA Europa League title win at the end of the season.

Hasselbaink, on the other hand, had a pretty good career with the Blues – scoring 87 goals in 177 appearances for them.
