‘I’m definitely visualising’: Liverpool to scout winger tonight, talks up Premier League return

Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma has admitted that he is already thinking about his next move amid links with a move to Liverpool.

Danjuma was sensational for Bournemouth last season, smashing 17 goals and seven assists in 35 appearances for the Cherries.

The 24-year-old was a man in demand, and chose to make a move to Spain with Villarreal.

With three goals in six outings, Danjuma is already making a big impact under Unai Emery.

Marca reported in August that Liverpool had enquired about a deal for Danjuma.

Villarreal had already made a bid though, and they won the race for the Dutch international.

Liverpool are already believed to be back in for Danjuma, with Voetbal International suggesting that the Reds haven’t given up on him.

Liverpool will allegedly scout Danjuma tonight as Villarreal take on Manchester United.

Liverpool may need to find another winger down the line with Sadio Mane almost 30, and Danjuma could be their man.

Danjuma has now told the Daily Mail that he is ‘definitely’ thinking about his next move just weeks after signing for Villarreal.

Danjuma wants to prove himself at the highest levels and is open to a Premier League return – which could work out well for Liverpool.

“I aim for the highest possible [accolades] in my career and play the highest platform of football. If that means the Champions League I want to prove myself, if that means the Premier League then that will be the Premier League,” said Danjuma.

“I came to Villarreal to prove myself again but I’m definitely visualising the next step,” he added.
