After the embarrassing loss to Benfica, Sergio Busquets was asked whether Barcelona’s main problem was their coach, Ronald Koeman.
“In the world of football, the easiest thing is to fire a coach. We all have to take responsibility, we are in a critical situation and this is the truth,” the captain told Movistar.
“We were not good, neither in defence nor in attack. We reached the opponent’s area a lot, but it was useless. When we moved forward, they took advantage of the situation and scored the 2nd and the 3rd.
“We have to improve in order to face the next stage, things are complicated. We have to move forward, we have to be positive and think about the next matches.”
After two matches in the Champions League, Barca sit in last place in their group with zero points, having conceded six goals and scored zero.
