Barcelona want Lionel Messi’s return now. According to’ Sport’, the Spanish team don’t want to stay for his contract with PSG to expire in June. Barcelona would like to warrant his services in January, although it’ll be delicate to do so.

Lionel Messi left the Camp Nou in 2021. A little over a year has passed and Barca still miss him as much as on the first day.

Joan Laporta is working on his return at Barcelona but it’ll be veritably delicate. Messi has a contract with PSG until 30th June, but the French club have moved snappily and they’ve formerly made a renewal offer to the striker in order to avert his departure.

Barca will do everything to secure Messi’s return.’ Sport’ reports that they won’t stay until the summer to sign him because they will try to go for him in the January transfer window.

Thanks to their fiscal regulators, Barca could register a player under the1/1 rule rather of the1/4 rule. Before, they could only spend one euro out of every four saved, a rule that would make his transfer delicate.

According to the same media outlet, Barcelona have it complicated because PSG aren’t going to allow him to leave in the middle of the season. The French club won’t do Barca any favours and Nasser Al- Khelaifi would be in count of the negotiations if they decide to make a move.
Messi has it clear. The player is concentrated on the season and his future is on hold for the moment. The first precedence for the player is the World Cup, which is just around the corner.
