Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made an interesting statement about Lionel Messi.
Ten Hag says the Paris Saint-Germain superstar is a one-of-a-kind footballer and cannot be compared to any other player.
The former Ajax manager pointed out that everyone has seen what Messi can do, especially at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
He told Sky Sports: “There is only one Messi; we saw him at the World Cup.” The others must work and be part of a team.
The Argentina captain has scored a total of seven goals and produced three assists at the World Cup.

Messi is one of only three players from the South American nation to feature every minute of the campaign.

‘He’s a bluffer’: Fabregas singles out Arsenal player after win over Man Utd
Former Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas has described Bukayo Saka as “a bit of a bluff”.
Fabregas was speaking after the Gunners beat Manchester United 3-2 in a thrilling Premier League game on Sunday.
Saka netted the second goal for his side, a goal which made him the third Arsenal player to score in three consecutive league appearances against Manchester United, after Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg.
“He’s a bit stunning because he makes opponents think he’s too nice, but when he’s on the pitch, he’s a different animal! “.
“He is having a fantastic season. I am very happy for him,” Fabregas said.
