According to Sportsmail, the group of Qatari investors planning to make a bid for Manchester United are sure that there won’t be any problems caused by their country’s ownership of Paris Saint-Germain.

In order to return United to the top of world football, where they believe the team belongs, they want to provide manager Erik ten Hag with a sizable war fund.

The group is aware that the Glazer family, the club’s current owners, are asking for north of £6 billion for the organization and that renovating or rebuilding Old Trafford may cost a further £2 billion.

One concern might be Qatar Sports Investment Group’s ownership of the French juggernauts.

But that is a subject that is being looked at.

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi is also the chairman of Qatar Sports Investments

However, professionals working for those involved are currently looking into that issue. They are independent of QSI, and the funds will take the form of individual funds as opposed to sovereign wealth funds. There is faith that PSG’s ownership by Qatar won’t pose any problems. Additionally, it might be shown that the group, who are certain that their offer would be the strongest, are already making preparations for what will take place if they are successful.
